History

Moneda de Cuba, meaning the “Currency of Cuba” or the “Coins of Cuba” was developed by Christopher J. Yarosz and finalized in the early months of 2009. Moneda de Cuba was developed to describe to the premium cigar smoker the true essence of the wealth of the Cuban nation and its finest cigars.

These cigars have been made by hand in the tradition of the Cuban entubado style since the spring of 2009. A beautifully crafted cigar started long before the name Moneda de Cuba came into being, this tradition continues to life through the genius of Luis Sanchez. A fine maker of cigars from Miami, USA, La Tradicion de Cubana insures that each cigar meets the quality standards Luis Sanchez requires from all of the cigars made by him.

All of our premium blended Cuban seed cigars are aged 1 year in Spanish cedar and meticulously rolled to perfection by expert tabaqueros (rollers). Manufactured mainly in Tamboril, Dominican Republic, our cigars are blended by Cuban Tradition standards. Each premium cigar is finished to perfection using the entubado style.
